CLAY CARE

Polymer clay is a durable and lightweight material when cured. It is bendable but can break with enough force. Each piece is handmade, slow made, therefor slight imperfections may result, making them unique one-of-a-kind pieces.

We use titanium posts on most of our pieces which is hypoallergenic. On other pieces we use gold plated, nickel free posts.  The type of material used depends on the style of your jewelry.

Some pieces may have brass attachments. Raw brass components may tarnish and darken over time if exposed to water and oil from the skin but can be easily cleaned with a soft jewelry cloth and/or tarnish remover.

To extend the life of your Millie Jay jewelry, it is recommended that it be removed and stored safely prior to sleeping, bathing, swimming and exercising.
